The Enfer World Sheep Dog Trials 2005 takes place in Tullamore, County Offaly which is located in the midlands of Ireland.

The World Championship event runs over four days (July 7th - 10th), with 241 sheep dogs and handlers having qualified from 21 different countries around the world. Qualifying rounds for the Enfer World Sheep Dog Trial event take place on Thursday and Friday where the sheep dogs compete for a place in Saturdays' Semi Finals. The top fifteen sheep dog and handler pairings from the semi final qualify to compete in the Enfer World Sheep Dog Trial Grand Final on Sunday.

This family event will feature the worlds best in sheep dog handling along with many other enjoyable activities for young and old including food and drink village, international craft arena, dog demonstration arena, vintage horse threshing, the very best of traditional Irish music and dance, plus much more.

Set in the vast surrounds of Charleville Estate, one of the oldest oak plantations in Europe, the Enfer World Sheep Dog Championship trials are set to be one of the highlights of the Irish events calendar.
